William "Willie" Goetz (1890-1959)
Four generations are shown in this picture. They are John Goetz, recently deceased, his son William Goetz of Terre Haute, his daughter, Mrs. Juanita McBride and her son Billy Joe McBride, of Brazil, Indiana.
William Goetz was the son of Johanne Friedrich George Goetz (b -d) and Mary Alice Gilkerson (b-d). He was born on 5 Jul 1890 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was a coal miner, like his father. William married Nellie Chadwick (b 24 Aug 1895-d 16 Apr 1990) on 12 Sep 1910 in Vigo County, Indiana. There were four children of this union:
- Juanita Goetz (b 1913 -d 1938 ) married 2nd Truttler; married 1st Ernest McBride; died of heart disease; buried Roselawn Memorial Park, Terre Haute, Vigo, IN
- Edward Doyle Goetz (b 1916-d 1944) died in WWII.
- Roy Goetz (b 1917-d 20 Sep 1920) died of diphtheria
- Dorothy Goetz (b 1918 -d 1993)
