Don Worden Hutchison

Don Worden Hutchison (b 9 Oct 1930 – d 12 Nov 2006) was born to John Robert Hutchison (b 18 May 1898-d 23 Apr 1959) and Edna Goetz (b 21 Jul 1900 – d 24 May 1959) in Terre Haute, IN.  Don Worden Hutchison married 1st Donna Mae Stiff (b 1930 – d living in 2022) on 6 May 1950 in Grand Blanc, Genesee County, MI.  She was the daughter of Ralph C Stiff and Dorothy Wise. Don and Donna divorced on 3 Jul 1985 in Flint, MI.

There were 4 children of this union.  There are:

  • Debbie Kay Hutchison (b 1953-d living in 2022)
  • Sandra Lee Hutchison (b 2 Mar 1951 – d living in 2022) 
  • Clyde Hutchison (b – d living in 2022) 
  • Don Hutchison  Jr (b – d living in 2022)

Don married 2nd Connie Van Baalen (b 26 Nov 1941- d 28 Apr 2007) on 29 Dec 1975.  There were no children from this union.

*Donna Mae Stiff married 1st William Byron Richley (b 22 Sep 1918 – d 3 Feb 1975)  They married on 6 Nov 1952 in Grand Blanc, MI.  Donna and William divorced on 3 Feb 1975 in York, PA.  

Connie married 1st  ? Harshman. They were later divorced. 

There were 2 children of this union.

Obituary

Don W. Hutchison, 76, Peru, died 3:53 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at Caring Hands Healthcare, Peru. He was born Oct. 9, 1930, in Flint, Mich., to John R. and Edna (Goetz) Hutchison, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Connie VanBaalen on Dec. 29, 1975, and she survives. He retired from Delphi Corporation in the tool and die department and was a member of Peru Maennerchor.  Surviving are his daughters, Sandra Winslow and husband Fred,  of Kokomo; Debra Galant and husband Rick, of  Millington, Mich.; son, Don Hutchison and wife Suk, Dallas; stepson, Jeff Harshman and wife Sharon, Denver, Ind.; stepdaughter, Loura Santos and husband David, Kokomo; sister, Donna Evans and husband Joe of Owosso, Mich; six grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Clyde Hutchison; three brothers; granddaughter, Teresa Marie Osborne; and one sister.  Services will be 2 p.m. today at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Chapel, Cass County, with the Rev. George Dinkel officiating. Burial will follow there. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time at the memorial park. Arrangements are being handled by Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.  Published in Kokomo Tribu
